Well look no further. I have surveyed our Golf Times Magazine Staff to find the best answers to your questions. So here we go, Joe’s Places to eat Diners, Deli’s and Pizzeria’s.

Denny’s: With four locations in the Myrtle Beach area, Denny’s is not only America’s Diner but our staff’s choice too. Always greeted by a friendly staff, Denny’s is conveniently open 7 days a week and serves a hearty breakfast 24 hours a day. The lunch and dinner menu consist of everything from appetizers to entrees; thick deli sandwiches, awesome sides, burgers, fish to steak dinners. Don’t forget the deserts, from milk shakes, smoothies to build your own sundae – you will not walk away hungry. Proprietors Craig and Scott Herman have become an extension of our Golf Times magazine family and are always available to talk golf and recommend a course to play for you out of towners. The Golden Egg: 415 Hwy 17 North Surfside Beach, SC. A Great game of golf begins with a great breakfast and The Golden Egg outshines them all when it comes to breakfast. For over 20 years proprietor Evan has put his competition in the rear view mirror with generous breakfast portions served up 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. Extra large eggs served as you like, omelets, pancakes, waffles, bacon, Italian or smoked sausage, corn beefed hash, toast, fresh juice, coffee, tea and more. The lunch menu is just as fresh, generous and delicious. You’ll find big portioned sandwiches, burgers, gyros, wraps, salads & soup with amazing sides. So the next time you’re golf foursome is hungry stop in and eat breakfast or lunch at the Golden Egg and you wont be hungry anymore.

NY Deli: 3901 Dick Pond Road, Myrtle Beach, SC: Here in the Myrtle Beach area you have a lot of Deli’s that call themselves New York Style, but if you really want a New York Deli, Sharon and Todd Tavares’ NY Deli is your destination. Open 6 days a week from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm serving only Boars Head cold cuts with a lengthy sandwich menu with catchy names. All of their breads are fresh from New York State. Cold cuts are sold by the pound. Savory salads, desserts, including cheese cake are made on premise. Sharon and Todd will be happy to cater your special event. Eat in or take out, Golf Times recommends you sit down and enjoy a meal at the NY Deli and take the tour of Todd’s sports museum after lunch, free of charge. As an avid sports fan, I haven’t seen this size collection of sports photos and memorabilia in one place since I was in Cooperstown, NY or Canton, Ohio at the Baseball and Football Hall of Fame. Check it out, if you’re not impressed I will buy you lunch there.

Michael’s Pizza: 1701 N. Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC. New York Style Pizza is in Myrtle Beach and Michaels Pizza is where it’s at. Open Monday – Saturday 11:00 am to 10:30 pm Proprietor Peter Manos and his staff have the best pizzas, with tons of toppings, available by the pie or slice, they have authentic appetizers, pasta dishes, entrees, subs, salads, burgers and home made desserts. Always packed, if you want a taste of the Big Apple join us at Michael’s Pizza. Delivery is also available.
